Norwegian 787-8 Business Class
Its cheap, and frankly, better than I expected. Here's my review on Norwegian Air 787-8 Premium Class.
Check-In: Quick and seamless. Nothing special. We also arrived quite early to the airport. I was only done checking in a couple minutes before my buddy who was flying economy.
Boarding: Somewhat confusing, but regardless I went from terminal to plane within 2 minutes.
Seat: Alright. SO the cabin is a 2x3x2 layout, so you're not going to find privacy. This isn't business class. This is essentially a slightly better version of domestic first class. The recline is actually quite significant though, which caught me by surprise. It's comfortable enough, but I wish it was a little wider. Seat pitch is plentiful, and the leg rest is quite nice. Storage wise-not much space. Backseat pocket was tiny. I just kept my backpack under the seat in front with everything in it, so no big deal.
Food: Only one free meal on this flight, which was a bit of a bummer. The food was decent enough, but I never really complain about plane food anyways.
Entertainment: The TV's fold up from the arm rest and come packed with a pretty decent array of options to chose from. The touch screen was responsive, and I was thoroughly entertained throughout the flight. You can also order food and drinks directly though the TV, which is nice (nicer if it was free for premium customers!).
Service: Friendly and efficient. Nothing to personal at all, but the crew got the job done without any complaints from me.
Conclusion: Look, for the price, its worth it. But don't expect anything too fancy at all. This is essentially a glorified premium economy, but for me (and my dad who has even higher expectations), it does the job.
