Corinthia Hotel
This is where I have stayed the past three times I have stayed at hotels in London. Why? Location, location, location. It really can’t be beat. Check out what else keeps me coming back to the Corinthia year after year .
Location: A+
You’re right on the river, across the bridge from the London Eye, down the street from Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, and a few blocks from Trafalgar Square. The Embankment station is across the street, which has subway lines going wherever you need to go in the city (including to every airport, one way or another).
Service: B+
Not going to lie, I felt a little less welcomed by the staff this time. Subtle things, here and there. Asking for things to be sent to the room would take a little longer than expected. Maybe its because I am on the younger side of the clientele. Boss man father didn’t have any issues. Anywho, the service in general is still fantastic, I’m probably just being a little bitchy. This is a five star hotel, at the end of the day.
Dining: A
Afternoon tea at the hotel is one of the best in the city. That’s all I have experienced when it comes to dining at the hotel, and it was absolutely awesome, so it gets an A from me.
Rooms: A-
Outlets should be better placed, and storage space runs slightly low, but other than that, the room is large with helpful technology and ridiculously comfortable beds.
Amenities: A+
The spa at the Corinthia is easily the best spa I have been to in a city hotel. Mark that down. It’s absurd. No matter how much you want to do in London, take an hour out of your day to enjoy the spa.
Scene
Its a bit snobbier than I would like, and a bit older, but its a fancy hotel in London, so wha else would you expect.
