The Boca Raton

This place is ranked up in the top 10 hotels in America, and it is very easy to see why. Here’s what I think of the Boca Raton:

Location: A-

It really depends on you here, because the hotel itself is actually split into 5 “separate” properties. We were in the yacht club, which location wise is probably the worst. There’s a section right on the beach, a section where all the action is with food and dining, and a section closer to the pools and waterpark. The point of this hotel is to not leave the hotel, so it doesn’t really matter what is around the property, mores just here you want to be within the property. There are golf carts and little boats that can take you all around the hotel as well.

Dining: A

Major Food Groups takes over here so everything is on point. Pricey? Yes. But definitely solid.

Amenities: A+

Like literally everything you could possibly imagine. There’s a “smelling” room. There’s pickle ball courts (and like a LOT). There’s WATERSLIDES! Anything and everything you could imagine is there. Literally.

Service: B+

The hotel is MASSIVE and there are so many people that it feels somewhat impersonal at times, but overall great. Champagne on arrival is always a plus. But waiting 45 minutes for hummus, that’s a minus.

Scene

Snooty but also fun. Its massive, so you’ll find spaces for families, couples and big groups in for corporate getaways. Its a creme de la creme resort though, so it kind is all to be expected with the snootiness. The family scene was actually entertaining though, and I ended up making some friends with a group of guys who thought they could beat me down the waterslides. Little do they know, I am the GOAT of waterslides.

Room: A-

Like so luxurious, it was wild. The most comfortable beds, lovely views over the harbor from the patio, and a great bathroom. Some of the finishes are a bit outdated, but overall its a fantastic room in the yacht club.
