Hotel Pousada Lisboa

Lisbon is a big, diverse city with a lot of options. If you want a hotel that has it all, in the center of the city, with a surprising amount of amenities, the Hotel Pousada Lisboa is the answer.

Rooms: A

They give you everything you need, and then some. I’m talking beautiful views, great beds, window-front couches, and a Handy phone to take with you when you don’t have wireless connection. Plus, prices aren’t outrageous so its a great bang for buck. Just don’t get a room on the top floor.

Location: A+

Can’t be beat. No questions asked. We walked the city a lot, and this is the place to stay. You’re close to everything, on flat ground, and with fantastic views. Name a better combination. I’ll wait.

Dining:  B+

Breakfast isn’t great, but it does the job for sure. Plus, it’s located in a beautiful little courtyard in the hotel which I enjoyed (as long as you can deal with the slightly higher volume during peak times). And for dinner, Beef and Steak is located in the hotel, and is one of the better restaurants in the city.

Amenities:  A

A beautiful pool, great spa and gym services, rooftop lounge, library, bars, and more, this small little hotel has it all. I was thoroughly impressed with the quantity, and quality, of the amenities offered by the hotel.

Service:  A

Everyone did their job in a prompt, efficient manner. No issues at all.

Scene

It was a relatively middle aged crowd for the most part, with some groups of young adults, families (one from Iran) and your fair share of old people. But overall, the crowd was solid, and they fit with the un-stuffy and un-ostentatious vibe of the hotel.
